Photo Stories -- "Through My Eyes" competition (open to all P5-P6 students) www.englishfestival.hk

As part of the English Festival 2006 in Hong Kong, our school has been selected to participate in this year's competition organized by Daily-7 and Daily-10 newspapers - two English language daily newspapers for primary school children. The theme of the competition is, "what I'm grateful for - in my home and environment". Students should first decide what they are grateful for, and why. When they have decided the subject of their entry, they should photograph it, then write a short, creative passage about their subject. The school deadline for submission of entries is 13 March 2006. All participants will receive a certificate of their participation. Exciting prizes will be awarded to the three best entries, and the top three entries will be published in the Daily10 newspaper.
